🐕 Is Fiat Grande Punto A Good Car

May 13, 2007. #5. You will easily get away with 17s as that is what the Sporting runs on (and that is lowered 20mm as standard in comparison to all the other GPs). Since ive had my wheels done im thinking its got to be lowered next. The thing is the back looks about 20mm higher than the front but i cant just lower the back because it will pivot. Punto almost as good as Fiesta in 20-80 and far better in 40-100 yet Punto is sluggish and Fiesta is sprightly. Punto is better then Logan in 20-80 and smokes it in 40-100 yet Punto is sluggish. The difference in 0-100kmph seems a little huge. Can a 50kgs lighter car actually be that much faster? Fiesta does it in 17.13 while Punto does it in This final 2012-2018-era Punto was a car that needed no apology, no 'Grande' or 'Evo' preface to its name, no desperate dealer offers. Once again, it was sold simply as a 'Fiat Punto' and was at last the kind of car you'd expect two decades of development to have been able to create. Ought this Fiat to feature on your shopping list of used Let FIAT first get a foot hold in India which has started with the Linea then once it starts selling cars in respectable numbers we will see limited edition scorchers for the enthusiasts. As we know the aam junta or regular joes far out number the enthusiasts (other wise Palio1.6 would be the best seller and not the Alto). Fiat's skill in small car making is the very foundation of the company. From the pint-sized 500 through to the latest Panda Fiat has always made good small cars and sold them by the millions. The old Punto was a good enough car but found itself swept away in a deluge of talented rivals. The new Punto has some ground to make up, at the same time Grande Punto is launched according to a plan by the Fiat think tank. Definitely they do not want the Punto to fail. There is no point arguing what could have been or should have been about the car at this point of time. The well wishers should rather make a list of the shortcomings noticed which can be/ should be addressed to immediately by Fiat. It was good pre chip. After - its something else. We also cant really compare 2 tons of Audi A4 (or Alfa 156) with a Punto HGT even if the engines do make nominally the same power. Dont get me wrong, the HGT sounds amazing above 4000rpm (and not bad below) and there's another power kick at about 6000 so its nice to use. 10. Points. 2. This is particularly hilarious on a bypass road at 80km/h at 4:30pm on a Friday. So you call up the dealer and give them the part number for one of the cables. Re: Fiat Grande Punto 1.9 Multijet although some contenders are newest, the Punto is still looking very good. I'm just asking why Autocar tested the 1.9 multijet instead of the 1.3 or the good 1.4 1. Nov 15, 2019. #1. Hello all, My grande has been running perfectly fine till the other day when it wouldnt start. it turns over but doesnt fire. i have charged battery and tested it and also had another vehicle jumping it when i have been trying to start it. i plugged my obd2 diagnostics checker in and its thrown up code p0335 (crankshaft It deserves it. Also talking about electrical Only shit things we had were that the OG batteries FIAT provides are shite, and the temp sensor in the mirror for outside temp decided one day (like 3 years ago, never did that since) to show -333°C (unlikely given there were actually 37°C outside 😅). Overall good car. Hi all, my first post here! I looked around the forum a bit but couldn't find an answer so here we go I own a left-hand drive Grande Punto "Sport" 1.3 Multijet (the one with the Pininfarina design, can't link it though), I'm originally from Italy but now I live in Ireland, so I drove it up Welcome to the forum and good choice of car. Don't worry about the clutch, you will soon get used to it, and there won't be a problem with the car, just getting used to the difference from the 206, you will soon get to grips with it the more time you have driving it. They love to keep you guessing eh. That was the right one, thanks. I had to put in a 10amp fuse rather than the original 15amp because that's all I had spare. I don't know the wattage on my car speakers but lets do a calculation: 12Volts x 10amps = 120Watts. The suspension and ride quality was impeccable as befitting a German or Italian car but engines were short of power. After reading your review, I think most of the above is true for Punto also, which is sad. FIAT should have provided better quality interiors, better packaging and ergonomics to match the beautiful exterior. gRnB.
