🎿 Is The Vw 1.0 Tsi Engine Reliable
As the TBHP review mentions, "this engine begs to be driven hard"! Had the chance to take it for a spin on the highways. The engine stays around 2000 rpm at 100 kmph, doesn't feel strained at all. The is more than enough grunt on offer even at 100 kmph. At 120 kmph, the low frequency engine vibrations start to creep into the cabin.
This particular Polo is that car’s little brother, and it replaces the 1.0 TSI with a 1.0 Evo engine. It’s still a three-cylinder unit, only it doesn’t benefit from any form of forced
However, the mainstay of the range will be a 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI motor that produces 113 BHP and 178 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed MT or torque-converter AT (will be more reliable than the DSG for sure). The 70kW Life manual, for the record, costs R353 600. Out on the open road, the Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI is so quiet and refined it feels like a bigger and more sophisticated package than what the
