3. Remove the interior quarter window lower sill trim by pulling it up and off the window sill. 4. Remove the exterior lower sill trim. This just pries straight up and off the car. I found it easiest to work from the rear of the door with a plastic pry tool. 5. Remove the rubber seal from the top of the door.

2009 E90 - Hood won't open on one side. Just started last week. Pull the lever to release the hood and it pops. Right side (facing the car) releases fine, but the left side does not unlatch. Impossible to get the hood open, even after pressing the lever in the middle under the hood.
Slide the rear plastic clip over the edge of the door (you will need to be pushing down on the trim a little bit to get it into place). Slowly push the trim down into place. The rest of it should slide right in if you have lined everything up in the rear. This goes for all 4 window sill trim pieces.
Check the spade connectors. Most defroster grids use spade connectors to provide power and ground, and they sometimes come unplugged. If the spade isn't broken off the window glass, try to reconnect it gently. If you can plug it back in, the defroster should start working. Check for power at the spade connectors.

Hi all, sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, on my E91 2005 I've got full radio reception with power to diversity unit with 12v 4v 4v And 0v until open door then get 12 if I ever rightly. Issues I have are remote phob not working ( I bought a new charged key from BMW so definalty the car not recieving the signal).

I have tried searching Google and various forums and all I have found is that the boot and glove box lights share a common fuse. The glove box light works.
